Dr Michael Crouch
Dr Michael Crouch was born in Brisbane and has spent most of his life living and working here. He obtained a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland in 1981 and subsequently his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree, also from U.Q. in 1986.
He undertook his early days of hospital training at Royal Brisbane Hospital and subsequently trained in Radiology at Royal Brisbane Hospital, obtaining his Fellowship qualifications in Radiology in 1997. His last year of training was undertaken at St. Thomas’s Hospital, London with specialised interest in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound/Intervention and Women’s Imaging.
On returning from London, he commenced working for Qld. Diagnostic Imaging and has spent his radiological career with this company in the North Brisbane region in both private hospitals and community-based radiology practices. During this time, he covered all facets of Radiology.
Dr Crouch was on the board of QDI for many years, established the highly successful Women’s Imaging Centre at Northwest Hospital and was on the Medical Board of this hospital for several years. More recently he has been the managing Radiologist for SCAN Radiology at Nundah and Sandgate in Brisbane.
